Shall we build a world again?
Parallel Kingdom 2
A real-world map MMO: claim land, build, craft, trade and fight alongside other players.
Nearly 18 years since the first flag. Nearly 10 years since goodbye. The original creators are building a new Parallel Kingdom.
The short version
What is Parallel Kingdom 2?
The fantasy you remember. A whole new game.
From 2008 to 2016, players planted flags on the real-world map around them, raised buildings and grew their territory. They crafted and traded, formed guilds, picked rivals, traveled with Roc Feathers and wore some truly magnificent hats.
Parallel Kingdom 2 carries the spirit of the original into a brand-new game: modern systems and a fresh start, coming to iOS, Android and your browser. Returning players can claim their original names by signing up now.
What we’re designing around
A flag on your own street
Claim the real map around you, from your block to the next town, raise buildings and push your borders out.
Craft & trade
Harvest, craft and sell in a market players run. A good merchant can get as famous as the best fighter.
Bring back your guild
Round up the old crew, settle a score with the rival you never beat, or start fresh with friends.
Explore with Roc Feathers
Fly to a friend’s kingdom on the other side of the world. The farther you go, the more the trip costs.
Wear a magnificent hat
Yes, the ridiculous hats are back. Pick a face and a hat people will recognize from across the map.

A letter from our co‑founder
To the players. To the underdogs.
Dear friends,
Nearly eighteen years ago, our small team launched Parallel Kingdom. You took a map and made it a world: kingdoms, trading communities, friendships, rivalries and ridiculous hats.
Nearly ten years ago, we turned off the servers. Saying goodbye hurt. We knew we were closing a place where you had spent years with people who mattered to you. Your time there mattered to us, too.
We loved serving you then, and we’ve loved serving the players of every game we’ve built since. Now we’re beginning Parallel Kingdom 2. It’s early, and we don’t know exactly where this will lead. The possibility of another adventure together is enough to make us excited to begin.
We’re imagining places you can claim, things worth making and trading, and a world that grows more interesting because someone else is in it.
Here’s to the independent developers and small teams who keep trying. Making a game means working on ideas before you know they’ll succeed, sharing unfinished things, and hoping to give someone a reason to come back tomorrow. I’m grateful for everyone willing to take that chance.
And to the players: your time is precious. So is the money you choose to spend on entertainment. Your support lets people keep making things. Your friendships, stories and welcome to newcomers create something no developer can supply alone.
Thank you for giving that to us and to the other communities you love. We look forward to sharing the work, hearing your memories and seeing what we can build together.
Here’s to the next adventure.
